Model/HMUA- Kaitlyn Pollard
I had been suffering from pretty low energy lately, and my shooting had gone full stop because of it. Because of this I took a solid 9 days off of work, and it has been doing wonders for me, so I finally had the energy to finish this set of photo’s I took of Kaitlyn a couple weeks ago. I had asked Kaitlyn to do some shooting with me, because I had not shot for quite awhile, and I wanted/needed to do something simple and low cost to kinda get me back into things. We went to a very popular park among photographers called the Strathcona science park, and it was my first time shooting here in the summer, the last time I was here was in winter 2 years ago and that was a tough shoot. I knew it had a great view of the city in the background, so that was my main focus to capture, and I got it perfectly though, in the beginning, I was worried because the weather was really not great. All day the weather was cloudy and windy, but the shoot wasn’t until 7pm so there was time, and when I arrived at 5:30pm for scouting it was still crappy. Weather is the bane of any photographer, and in the knick of time, the clouds cleared, the wind stopped and it was near perfect conditions.
